Looking forward to reading The Yellow Paper Emma. And our discussions on Story of Your Life are still resonating for me...leading to a full on discussion over dinner with my friends in Mallorca last week and a You Tube video on the lack of Free Will!
Ah, Ruth I'm so pleased! Thank you for letting me know, I love hearing about the little ripples out this book club experiment is creating. I hope you had a fab time in Mallorca too and hope to see you again next book club!
I have an almost 1 year old and haven't read The Yellow Wallpaper since college, but wow, this is so relevant to the conversations I'm having with friends. Such a great story and one that I wish didn't resonate anymore.
Thank you for sharing that Demi. It's sad to hear how much it still resonates, though a sign of the timelessness nature of the story (and, unfortunately, the subject matter). I hope you'll join us for the discussion!
I can’t make the 5pm time for the discussion but I’ve been keeping up with the book club reading. Enjoyed re-listening to this piece. I read it a couple of times for classes in uni. It’s interesting having a perspective shift from early 20s to late 30s.
Isn't it! Agree, it's curious coming back to some of these stories with a fresh perspective (and more life experience!) I'm so pleased you're reading along, and sorry you can't make the session.

It's unforgettable. Such a great read. And still relevant.
Terrifyingly so!

No worries! It’s nice to read the catch up too. Hope the session is great. 😘
