OK, it's seven. Either way, here's how I'm doing, and what I've learnt.

I promised myself that every three months I’d set goals for this Substack experiment of mine, and report back accordingly.

Well since my last post, those months have flown by, illustrated best by the fact it’s now seven months, not six, since I started writing weekly under the name ‘Scrambled Eggs’.

So how am I faring, seven months on? I’ve hit a few milestones, and had some proud moments - mostly thanks to those articles that have sprung up suddenly from some hidden well within me.

At the same time I’ve not fared so well with other goals I set for my writing - more on that below. What I’m most surprised by, still, is how I’ve managed to keep going, and set some boundaries around my writing so I don’t risk too much self-flagellation along the way!
